Chocolatefest 2018 - Cake Design & ChocolART Competition

Some of the most beautiful cakes & chocolate art you have ever seen are created right here in East Tennessee.  Come see some of these sweet creations and vote for your favorite!

Entries must emphasize chocolate in ingredients and appearance.  Your entries can be any size, any shape and any design.  Anything goes.  Your imagination is what we want to see!

Categories:  Professional, Amateur, Junior and ChocolART (mostly chocolate).
Please select the proper category on the entry form.

This competition is open to all ages.  Junior Category is age 16 & under.    

Competition entry forms are due by Friday, January 19, 2018.

Judging will be done by professionals in the cake/chocolate industry.  Entries will be judged on craftsmanship, appearance, originality, presentation and creativity.  Judging will take place on Saturday, January 27th at 9am.  Awards will be placed next to the winning entries for viewing during the Chocolatefest event.  Chocolatefest attendees will vote for their favorite entries and a People’s Choice Award winner will be announced before the end of the event.

Chocolatefest Knoxville will provide clothed and skirted display tables for the design competition.  If you wish to add draping or decoration around your cake, please feel free to do so.

Business cards may be placed with your entries for public viewing and advertising your business or charity.

You may check in and set up your cake between 9am & 4pm on Friday, January 26th (if you cannot come during this time or need to come the morning of the 27th, please let us know).  Cakes must be removed from the event on Saturday, January 27th between 5pm and 7pm.  Any cake not retrieved by 7pm on the 27th will be donated to Ronald McDonald House or area shelters.

You may offer your cake for sale to benefit Knoxville’s Ronald McDonald House.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category.
